Mount Kilimanjaro, located in Tanzania, is the tallest mountain in Africa, standing at 5,895 meters (19,341 feet). Unlike Everest, Kilimanjaro is a free-standing volcano, not part of a range. It doesn’t require technical climbing skills, making it more accessible to hikers with good fitness and preparation.
